or it could be that the drone guys are there at stupid o'clock in the morning and the turd alchemists are still in bed and will use the road later in the day. How dare UU not give us some of their land. Bad teds.

You were the one proposing an overhang as feasible. And that roadway of theirs is like a motorway.

WTF were Everton playing at getting dictated to by those turd washers?

There is enough space above the road on the Everton land. The stand doesn’t go above the service road. I don’t think they need UU land to extend the stand.

An overhang (flying freehold) is doable but only if the current occupiers ae fully on board, if not you are looking at appeals or even CPO for a section of land and subsequent appeals. A FF is much more likely to be successful if the original build is agreed, there is little for UU to object to, then ask for a FF application. You are suggesting we bully our way into such a thing. That is more becoming of our neighbours

IMO, FWIW, a CPO is N/A, a FF = DOA and UU would be LOL’d OOH.
