New Everton Stadium

How will the stadium be affected with relegation? Kill it?
I think if we had gone last year there was a chance of it being mothballed. However, by the time relegation is confirmed this year the stadium will be more than half built. I suspect they will find a way to get it done. However, probably opens us up to some pretty dire scenarios like a takeover where we lose ownership of it

Ah yes the magical, mythical stadium. The thing that will make everything better. It'll be boss. We'll have the best stadium in the championship!

The alternative is don't build a new stadium and moan in 5/10/15 etc. years why we aren't improving and the gap between us and the clubs we should be competing against is growing. If we had of had King's dock we probably wouldn't be in this situation now.

We are all pretty upset by the on field antics of the club but the stadium isn't something to beat them with.

I'm not beating them with it. I'm sneering at the way they use it like a pathetic defence mechanism like clockwork every single time we're in a bad place (which is 99% of the time at this point).

I'd rather we stop building or knock it down than have our first game in a new stadium be as a championship club

I'm like a broken record here, but it is absolutely ridiculous to be prioritising a new stadium when the product on the pitch is so bad
