Yup, it's an actual asset, and a revenue stream outside of football. The players are not worth anything to a new owner.

We desperately needed a new stadium, yes. But were we in a position to pile all the club;s energy into a project as enormous as this when we were so destabilised? And we've been less than secure ever since Moshiri arrived.

I know that sounds harsh, but I doubt I'll be the only one making that connection.

It's very difficult for clubs to shoulder that dual burden of PL football and building a stadium.

We can as long as we're come back up straight away and stay in the premier league. We can't afford to be fighting relegation every time the team is in the premier league.
