In fact closer look at the pic there’s walls running from the back of the stands to pitch level splitting up the seating along the lower tiers. I cant think of a reason for doing this other than its a modern stadium feature to prevent too many from gathering in one section in at the end of the game.

Call it 'The Merseyside Stadium' Take ownership of the whole region ofc. if there isn't a naming right option

Or be really bold and call it The Liverpool Stadium.

We could change it later if it didn't work and we had naming money.

I think in the earlier renderings, there seemed to be natural light coming in over the top of the east and west stands. I think I preferred that to this. Looked like the roof was suspended above the stadium. Not sure how that would have ever worked with the barrel shaped sides of the roof tho.

Personally, I hope we don't see that, either.

I think we ought to have the confidence in our own identity not to do that.

I’ve never liked having ‘Everton’ on the badge either. The marketing people know their stuff though I suppose.

If anyone can correct me, my assumption is it could actually be called that at international competitions; if the UK ever gets one.

As far as I’m aware it can’t be named after any sort of business at FIFA tournaments and not sure Everton is classed as one?
