New Everton Stadium

I thought about parking near Goodison and getting taxi to and from stadium.
My pre match is usually The Black Horse. I'd be tempted to sort a minibus from there for the usual crew until it's clear more homely options are available closer to Bramley Moore.
The Winslow are talking about running a shuttle buses and other pubs may follow suit. There's a FB page called Keep Business in L4 https://www.facebook.com/groups/898574801556187

Or maybe get a bus along to the Rotunda or Great Homer St. It's about a 15 minutes walk down Boundary Street to BMD. A free, double decker shuttle buses every few minutes from the Rotunda to the new stadium is an obvious thing they should be looking at. Loads of buses stop on Stanley Road, Scotland Road (other side of pocket park) and Great Homer Street. It would solve a lot of issues.

Just park in one of the multi-stories in town and walk or take a black cab up for a few quid each. That said, I'm sure the club has thought about car parking and, alongside the council, will have plans for it.

Absolutely. I don't think people realise how many people will take a taxi from the centre of town to the new gaff. We are lucky to have so many black hacks.
The multi-stories in town is a good shout, too. Although the parking ain't cheap, I think a lot of families will share a car into town, some will go shopping and others to the match. Meet up again at 5.30 to go home

Definitely. No idea on the price of a car park for 3-4 hours but can't be more than about £2 each if there's four of you in the car. Another £3 each return for the cab and you've got parking and two taxi rides for a fiver each, few quid more if you're just three people, few quid less if you're five.

"Eh mate can I look after yer car?"
aka
"Do you want your windows doing in if you don't slide me a few quid here and now in advance of me absolutely not looking after your car whatsoever"
a mate of mine's old man got sick of this and took his Belgian Shepherd out with him one time. He says to the kids 'come 'ere...' points at the dog in the passenger seat and says 'see him?... he minds my car'.

As he walks away he hears one of the rapscallions say 'howz he at putting out fires eh?' lol

The ferry carries 2000 at a time? Have a park and ferry so you can park over the water and ship over 2k at a time. A ferry terminal at BMD could work, couldn't it?
I'd love that to happen. Wet blankets have pointed out it doesn't move enough people and it would be too costly but even so. Imagine it. A night game, too.

I was in Istanbul a few years back. Got a ferry to the eastern side one night when Fenerbahce (spelling?) happened to be playing. The ferry was chockablock. Hundreds of fans going over on each ferry.

I realise it's not like-for-like, but it was interesting to see.

Just one thing I've just thought of, anybody handy for Hunt's Cross, Southport, Ormskirk or Kirkby stations should have it really easy. First on the train, seat to themselves then get off at Sandhills. Trains will be chocker further down the line, of course.

I can imagine it was a sight to see. I'd love to see something like that here. Unfortunately we don't do public transport in this country (apart from London, of course).

2000 at a time is how many coaches/busses/taxis?

The ferries ate a big part of river life, would be a great addition, IMHO.

As for expensive, it doesn't stop people from using them, and considering the cost of taxis, parking, etc... Give the ferries extra income too.

I completely agree but some were saying given the cost of building a terminal and dredging it just won't happen. Sadly, I think they are probably right.
