New Everton Stadium

Hunts Cross on my doorstep.

The car can be left at home and not worry about a few beers.

I appreciate that as it stands at the moment BMD is more difficult to get to than GP for most people, I just wonder who on here is better off for public transport when we move to the new place even before they put on Soccerbuses etc ie it's already easier to get to than Goodison. I'll start the ball rolling, I'm significantly better off for buses and train, as is anybody who lives directly north of the city centre all the way out to Southport. Anybody else care to comment? Thanks.

I drive when I go now and park outside me mums. I won’t have that luxury at the new ground. I live by the old roan. so it’s easy to get the bus to county road or the train to kirkdale to get to Goodison if I didn’t drive. I won’t be driving to the new stadium I don’t think probably just get the train to Sandhills and walk down. That’s me plan anyway.

Public transport it will be easier no matter where you’re from? (new transport links also to be factored eventually).

Only people who will be disappointed are those who normally park down the side roads.

As a wool, from the south-east our drive to Goodison is up the M6, onto the M62 and then up Queen's Drive, and park around Anfield way. We're already looking into possible routes / parking for BMD, but for us it's going to add a fair bit of travel time no matter what we do. Don't particularly fancy driving through the city on a matchday! One option I'm guessing will be to carry on along Queen's Drive to Bootle / Kirkdale, and park and walk down from there?? We've even looked into coming off the M6 early and driving up the Wirral, and getting a train from the Wirral (I worked in Bromborough for a while) to James Street, then walking up, but can imagine that would be a ball ache.

I live in Park Road so if I was going straight there it would be the 82 to Paradise Street Bus Station then walk straight down the Strand from there. In reality I will be in some Dale Street Ale House till 2.50pm then looking to flag down a cab outside.

If you're coming off the M62 why not just come off at J6 and drop down to the A561 .park free at either Cressington or Aigburth station and get a day saver for about £5 . get off at Moorfields or Sandhills. In fact you could do that now to get to Goodison via Kirkdale. At the moment I park free
at Maghull North and ride into town for an hour then back out to Kirkdale all on the same ticket .

Will look into that for BMD, cheers mate. We park for free around Anfield at the moment and it's probably quicker to do the Queen's Drive whilst still at Goodison

It's way easier for me to hop on a train to town instead of in the car stuck on Queens drive both ways.

Can have the luxury of having a beer or 2 before & after , probably won't be much difference time wise either.
