I'd imagine shareholders get first dibs, then st holders of 20+ years, 15, 10 etc etcWondering how they will do it (seat allocation) based on length of time you've hade your're season ticket, the longer you've had it you get first refusal on any seats in any stand?
This is how I suspect it'll work, but it will be interesting to see how the club factor in families: I've had mine for 20+ years, whereas my son is in his second season.I'd imagine shareholders get first dibs, then st holders of 20+ years, 15, 10 etc etc
One thing is certain, they need a fully online system when the time comes where people can log in and click their new seat (or 2/3 seats if a family) The new season ticket allocations and seat moves at Goodison is done manually off a shared excel sheet. Shambles.
You'd imagine they can see which ST are renewed in the one payment and the holder with the most seniority can choose for the group.....it can't be that hard. This is how I suspect it'll work, but it will be interesting to see how the club factor in families: I've had mine for 20+ years, whereas my son is in his second season.
You'd hope the club would link children with the adult (in terms of when allocating) although with Everton I wouldn't be surprised if I had to wait with him.
There also needs to be features to allow people to see the view from the seat and try to book tickets together (e.g. current groupings at GP) rather than all ad hoc.
Ideally, it would be brilliant to tour the ground first, however I know that'd be way beyond Everton's organisational capabilities.
It shouldn't be that hard would be the correct maxim, however knowing Everton and my experience with the box office it will more likely be a challenging situation. You'd imagine they can see which ST are renewed in the one payment and the holder with the most seniority can choose for the group.....it can't be that hard.
The seat view should be easy, they already have that feature in the resale platform (but you can only check a view from available seats for a particular game.)
Probably been asked before in here, do you think the club will place season ticket holders in similar seat to what they're in now?
ie if your behind the goal now your first option will be behind the goal.
I would guess we may have 2-3 options with the first one in a similar seat to a position you are in now?
The all thing is on the website still and as far as I'm aware the people who pay for top end hospitality at Goodison have all been contacted and shown the various top end hospitality at the new stadium along with being shown a VR tour of the stadium and what their seats will be like. This is set up at the Liver Building.
From memory, they did applications in groups of loyalty points. Those with say 350-400 points had a particular window and then it went to those with 300-350 pts etc.It shouldn't be that hard would be the correct maxim, however knowing Everton and my experience with the box office it will more likely be a challenging situation.
I'm usually a positive person by nature, yet I've rarely known the box office to get things right nor have most of my friends - hence, the scepticism.
The seat view thing I know will happen, but my main bit is if and how people will be able to group themselves together who aren't actual family members.
I know I've mentioned it previously where all those around where we sit want to go to together again. Some of us have 20+ years, some have 5+ etc.
Would it be a case of us having to try and work it out ourselves (all sitting online at the same time together), or will the club facilitate it? @Yid4life, what did Spurs do?
If it can't be done or only in a limited capacity, so be it; nevertheless, it would be nice for the club to help facilitate a smooth transition for such a big moment.
Cheers mate - I suspected so.From memory, they did applications in groups of loyalty points. Those with say 350-400 points had a particular window and then it went to those with 300-350 pts etc.
If someone with 400 wanted to sit with a fan on 300 they had to wait for the window appropriate to the supporter with the lowest amount of points
Cheers mate - I suspected so.
Is that a film or a play? Sounds like a work of fiction, similar to the fantasy film 'Headlock'Does anyone remember seeing Bill in the Boys Pen?
