Will do, mate.Next visit mate, can you check if the in-between cladding (where the leitch design is) and all the new black panelling, if that's glass being put in currently and if so, is that then going to get the black perforated panels over them (if there's anyone to ask)
On the Mr Drone video above, they definitely look like glass windows getting put in but could just be the light deceiving me.
Also, if I dress up as a floor board or a giant hammer or nail, do you think you can sneak me in so I can go for a wander myself
I haven’t looked at that, I’ll look next time I’m there. In the middle the South stand, is the white covering, tilling ? If you know are you allowed to say, don't want you getting g into trouble.
BMD will hold 53,000 when finished. What will Anfield's capacity be? Is it about 8,000 more? Given the huge difference in trophies won over the last 50 years, it's hardly that much of a gulf, is it? I mean it's not double or anything, is it? I know some won't be bothered by this but we already get more local fans than they do now. With another 15,000 to be added to our capacity soon, that stat will only be increased.I agree the approaches do not reflect the status of the clubs, but they do reflect the priorities and methods of the owners (or at least did for us when initiated). We are a long way off being able to sustain the sort of crowds Liverpool know they can attract. If we are very lucky in 20 years we might be talking about how the inbuilt design limitations at BMD present hurdles for a needed phased redevelopment but an awful lot will need to go right between now and then. It is hard to believe in that right now.
Thank God for a little perspective dare I say positivity.BMD will hold 53,000 when finished. What will Anfield's capacity be? Is it about 8,000 more. I drove past the new stadium today for thr first time in about 12 months. It's starting to look very impressive but thr surrounding area is just depressing. Where are the corner shops, the pubs, a chippy. Where's the pre & post match experience? What's the plan for the area around the stadium? I'm sure it's all been announced somewhere but I've not seen it.
