New Everton Stadium

Don't have to believe me but I'm sure a lot of the posters on here with close ties with LOR will tell you.

It's going to be an all year round bar / restaurant.

No one can argue against that over putting a few programmes and posters in a listed building that should be used all year round?
It isn't about believing you or not, I'm just surprised.

And no, I didn't expect it to be a "St Lukes MK2" serving tea and selling memeribilia on match days either.

Throughout the consultation process it was said the space was to be renovated to house a historical exhibition on the docks. If I'm not mistaken (wouldn't be the first time lol) it was also included in the planing application as an exhibition space.

Not too fussed either way, but if its been repurposed I'd imagine it would have been a bit more official

An onsite Cavern Club Franchise (obviously would need to create a franchise system for it? Tie the beatles in with Everton. I think Pete Best was a toffee man?

After the first victory at BMD...............

You're right apologies. It's what's been detailed now and to be fair the club would be daft to not utilise that space like that.

I think I was the one who compared the hydraulic tower to St. Luke's a few pages back.

I didn't mean it should be used to sell old programmes and nik-naks. I meant from an architectural point of view. A beautiful old building full of character that forms an integral part of our property. St. Lukes is a fantastic and unique feature of Goodison. The H.T. will be similar at BMD.

ok mate enjoy the ground being built as nice as it maybe. it’s not changing the present. sorry i’m more assed about a team on the pitch.

I feel that we can do both, in equal measures and it is not a bad thing.

Be excited about a world class stadium being associated with the club. The hope being that we will be more attractive to a takeover, have something there that would an all year round venue, increase in sponsorship, etc.

The current state of the team is worrying but I feel that we can still worry about that while being excited about the above, as the above may help with the team situation. It may be a long road but it is better to have this stadium being built than nothing.

Have you got the right Pump House.
