The Canada Docks are outside of the Peel water development area, that's too far North. Plus, it's still a working dock.

The furthest north that the Peel development goes to is the Bramley-Moore docks, Which is disused and has been for a fairly long time.

This gives you a good idea of approximately where everything is. Goodison is up around Spellow and the Pier Head is obviously Liver Buildings/City Centre so you get an idea of how far out each of the docks are. I would say that Peel land goes to around Nelson or Sandon Docks.

You can place the Peel development using these two pictures. The first one is widely available on the Liv Waters website. The second, well, its Google maps clearly......

So is the Docks idea looking likely ? last time i checked this thread people seemed to think the site inland was more likely due to cheaper costs etc

Without knowing anything at all about other sites, if there was little chance of a Dock site happening in the Peel zone, the conversations would have stopped a long time ago. There is a poster on here who has seemingly relatively close ties to Stonebridge Cross.

The Stonebridge Cross dialogue hasn't moved on since March. Everton's focus is undoubtedly upon the docks. Looking at the maps and applying the scale, I wonder what size footprint the new stadium plus associated aspects (parking, road junctions, retail outlets etc) would require? The dock maps suggest a limit of 200m x 300m, would that be sufficient?

Do you think the reason Trafalgar isn't being discussed is because Peel already have plans for that area?

I think Bramley-Moore would be great but surely filling in a dock would take a massive amount of work.

As far as I know the Stonebridge conversations stopped at least 2 months ago. It's clearly not the preferred option.

Because confidential commercial negotiations are at play here, which would probably not be helped by the entire world knowing the club's most desired outcomes.
