Tbh for all the excitement to move to a new stadium surely a proper last home game of the season is a much better way to say goodbye to Goodison. Seems disrespectful to cast it aside midway through a season. Plus pitch invasions and tearing whatever piece you want to own off would be punished less at the end of a season.

We’re going to sell tickets to Liverpool “fans” for a few Krone, as there is prob a better view of Snake Mountain from in there then there is from their new shed.....I mean stand.

See this is a perfect example of why we should have redeveloped Goodison, this redeveloped stand has a modern 21:9 Ultrawide aspect ratio, where as our new stadium still has the old fashioned 16:9 aspect ratio.

So, today's latest is that the new place will be ready in spring 2025, not Christmas 2024? If that's the case, I agree, no point in moving for 2/3 games around April time. Leave it until 25/26 season. And I'm one of those as keen to move as soon as soon as possible.

Don't get the sentiment myself, I want the club to move out of the dark ages and start thinking like a business.

Why couldn't we give GP a great send off later after the season finishes, 40k Evertonians, no away support, proper party with an exhibition match where the result means nothing?
