New Everton Stadium

I'd love Everton/Scotland Rd area or the waterfront they would be ideal or even better stay and redevelop GP...BUT Walton Hall Park is nowhere near disasterous in the way somewhere like Kirkby or South Liverpool would have been - it's certainly not a location to go to war (keioc style) with the club over. Keeping us close to our roots within Walton is not bad just not perfect.

Nothing, hopefully, can be compared to Kirkby.

But we need every advantage there is when a ground move comes around, any constraints should rule out a move to any given site.

I know I shouldn't but can't help thinking, what if the transfer money promised to roberto is put to one side to fund some of the new stadium then in September it is announced the stadium has been put on the back burner.

Honest/ignorant question here: what are the pros/cons of a site like Walton Hall Park vs William Collins Playing Fields? Availability of the site (to purchase, land restrictions, etc) are obvious constraints, but from a planning perspective the William Collins area seems to have some big pros.

This may have been discussed ad nauseum previously, so my apology for bringing this up again if so.

Walton Hall Park would be an awful venue for getting out of. Only WH Ave and Queens Dr for access and exits. GP on the other is (or at least was when I read this a couple of years ago) officially the quickest place to disperse traffic from in the PL according to Police.

Disagree mate Queens Drive and the East Lancs rd on the doorstep get you anywhere pronto in fact their closeness to GP (minutes away) is probably the reason for GP's swift dispersal.
