New Everton Stadium

NEA about the delay......Goodison all day, every day for me.....when it goes we lose a big playing advantage, albeit from a resource-generator it's pants.

Okay it's Cardiff but this is what they've achieved in 2 months - added a whole new tier to the main stand with exec boxes. Begs the question why this can't be done to the Park End given how quickly it can done. It would pay for itself with interest by the time we actually built a new stadium

2 months? Impressive. Gotta be an extra 2000 seats there.

However, it is laughable. It's red. And what are those circles?

They started it at the end of last season

The circles are the designs on the seats

Just proves once again (Wolves did it, too) adding a tier onto an existing stand, i.e., the Park End could be done quite easily and relatively cheaply if the club had any ambition whatsoever

Correct. I don't know why some posters are laughing at the Cardiff extension, when all we have at the Park End is a bog standard, Tranmere Rovers-like, pathetic single tier, with no corporate boxes.

A £40m surplus on transfers last season and an extra £20m in TV money, and we still haven't invested a penny in the stadium. Disgraceful.

I know they're a design, but of what?

Well said mate.

Can't see anything happening for years personally. The "Goodison Granites" are said to be intended to remain in place for at least a decade which means we won't be leaving Goodison for at least a decade.

On the plus side though....if we sell about three million of the granites we might have enough money to build a new stadium....and enough granite to build it out of!

I know they're a design, but of what?

the crappy ayatollah i.e. "the slap your head if you're a [Poor language removed] move" some weird cardiff celebration thing where you tap your head, it's suppose to be someone's arms slapping their head - i'm presuming that's what it is anyway.

nice mockup from the swansea fans. think it's a silly idea for cardiff to expand to 30,000? because of one season in the prem, personally think they should make themselves an established prem team before throwing money away like this. the large majority of their fans are bandwagon jumpers, if they're not doing well, they'll all dissapear and start supporting their first teams again.

So then we would have three s--t ends and the Park end with two tiers and that's what you call ambition????
