I can't see anyone wanting to move to a site that is next door to a sewage treatment works.

It would be a couple of docks away from the sewage works and it's had about £200m spent on it so I don't think smell will be a problem.

I hope you are right mate, but I have read anecdotes within this thread from people stating that it stinks down there.

Fair enough. But why is everyone ignoring the fact that are proposed new stadium site is adjacent to an actual sewage treatment plant, which actually smells of millions of turds?

We had to endure watching .... last season, so I'm confident that fans would be able to stomach the smell.

I've heard that it does regularly smell, but it's not a constant 24/7 stench. More intermittent with various factors.

Given the scale and scope of the planned Liverpool Waters scheme I can't imagine the smell is going to be an issue.

I think its a cracking idea to build a stadium next to waste works, it means we can drop Niasse off on the way past...

Hope they are incomplete plans. We play at Goodison Park, not Goodison. I know most call it just Goodison, but on the stadium itself it should be the proper name.
