Will the roof areas circled be filled in black does anyone know?

Yes mate I asked this a couple of weeks ago and I think someone mentioned it was either dark grey or black to give it a nice finish. I was looking at some renders (newer ones) and it looked like dark grey.

It'll certainly look more polished once they've done it.

I'm talking about the part they filled in and then reconnected it once again. It's a pretty cool feature don't you think?
The novelty has worn off me tbh. I won't be sitting over that side so will rarely see it anymore than I see the lake in Stanley Park.
My main concern is the club continuing to fill it beyond the first few seasons and it not being a place where people need to leave 15 minutes early every game to get home in a reasonable time.

One of the scare tactics used when we were submitting planning permission is that we would lose the UNESCO World Heritage maritime mercantile city status, which would lead to a loss of tourism business. Interesting when looking at the LCRCA website that following loss of the status in 2021, the region has increased tourism income by 21% and tourists by 4.4m. I think trying to protect that status heavily influenced the design of the stadium as well.
Probably more to do with Covid , but I do get your point.

I agree this seems to be wasted space. As Tom on here has stated on a number of occasions that the stadium is light on hospitality, could it in future be developed into hospitality/restaurants with views of the city.
Also is there office space in the stadium? Surely if so it would make sense to use cheap office space elsewhere in the locality and use the space in the stadium to maximise revenue
