Terraced behind both goals.
Might get 10-15k more with temp seats.
GAA grounds are too big for soccer games anyway.

Massive stadiums for GAA considering the small population of the RoI.
I should imagine the Aviva will take another game or two that would have been at Casement Park.
What would it take to bring Windsor park up to capacity?
Think it's about 10k short.
Considering the last world cup had temporary stadiums made out of shipping containers, surely something can be done for football in Belfast.
Although I'm an Irish catholic from the south, I'll never forget the hospitality of Linfield fans towards my home team in the Setanta cup years ago. Once we all agreed that we'd never agree on politics but both had a mutual hatred of Dundalk, everything was great!
Stupid that theres two leagues on a tiny island.
Instead of pumping money in to the GAA, use this event to push an all island league. Bring windsor up to scratch to host and make sure league club grounds get substantial proceeds from the tournament.
If only they'd see sense and just play our footy instead. You’d sell them all out 10 times over for a big game here mate.
Wonderful organisation, you should see the pitches and facilities in every small village across the country, put the FAI to shame.
FAI would bite your hand off for the extra games - tbf they did a good job here with the UEFA cup final last year.
Why would it be political suicide?Wouldn’t happen after Casement mate, would be political suicide.
I think they aren’t long after a redevelopment anyway if my memory is right, was up around there recently.
Stupid having two leagues, two associations and two separate national teams - but a change won’t happen there either.
Yeah when they used Croke Park the football pitch looked lost in the middle of it.21k in the north and south stands.

Seems to me like a good compromise.
Who's going to disagree with it? Nationalist politicians?
As far as I can see, it could be the only way to get both the FAI and IFA to cede ground, compromise, and work together.
A 12 team all Island league. fed by separate divisons from the north and south.
Maybe keep both cups separate for now.
If they agree to this, Windsor gets a temporary expansion and all 12 teams in the new league get infrastructure funding.
The winners of the northern and southern leagues would get promotion and a europa conference league spot.
Scrap the league cups and provincial cups
There, stadium solved, Irish soccer sorted.
Probably not but they should try appealing to the nationaist soccer culture as opposed to the GAA.Because neither the British Govt nor the Executive will commit funds to a redevelopment of Windsor Park with its strong unionist connections after refusing funding Casement with its strong nationalist connections - I’d have thought the political hazards in that are fairly obvious.
Sentiment is good mate, but sadly in reality, don’t think any of the above will ever happen.

Was always doomed to failure involving the gah!
yeah, exactly.But it’s a G.A.A.stadium!
Beautiful morning, isn't it?Quick one whilst on my way to work earlierView attachment 273339
It sure is!Beautiful morning, isn't it?
I think they would Dave.Would a GAA ground allow football to be played on it though...association variety?
