New Everton Stadium

I expect it will be all the hospitaility and office areas plus kitchens maybe. LoR are probably doing the fit out for the GA concourses.
I’m intrigued tbh, that LoR are doing the bars could suggest that might be extended to the kitchens too, but I guess they might only be doing the joinery for them and then whoever comes next will do the fixtures and fittings 🤷🏻‍♂️

weird that there doesnt seem to be any hospitality boxes in the north stand. Looks like it's built for them but they havent been installed.
I wonder if the thinking is that the upper north will be replaced sooner rather than later?

I think the interior of the stadium is a little unremarkable, to be honest, but - and this is the important bit - it feels absolutely claustrophobic from those pitch shots. That's exactly what we want: a breathless experience for the opposition.
The legroom on those seats! Absolute game-changer right there! I think the atmosphere should be brilliant. The stands look/feel so on top of the pitch. It has real potential to become a bear pit I reckon.

I really need to understand what people are looking for when they say they are underwhelmed by the inside.

Its empty and doesn't even have a pitch yet - What would make it better at this point exactly?

The simple fact is that it cannot be judged accurately until we're sat in it at a game,

Now, it might be terrible at that point too - and if so, then judge it accordingly at that time,

But judging it now is akin to rating the quality of a roast chicken dinner when the chicken is still clucking on the farm

You can be blasé about some things Matty, but not about the Everton Stadium. It's over 17 thousand bigger than the Riverside and far more luxurious.

Tbf, it can be difficult to compare two different size stadiums. I think the Riverside only cost approx £16m, so I would expect ours to be far more luxurious. Yet strangely, the Riverside actually has a few more boxes than BMD.

There were never boxes planned there... the north stand tiers overlap due to literally running out of space and not being able to build any further back, as it goes right up to the site border. That's also why it's that funny shape, as if they added any more rows it would breach United Utiliy's land.

To reassure, this isn't an Everton thing, both the yellow wall at Dortmund and our single tier stand have a super-riser at the point the gradient changes. It's a pretty standard solution in this kind of design.

As others have said, you won't notice it when the stand is full.

You've made the very last 10 or so rows of your South Stand safe standing. Did they say much about why they done that? I reckon it's a good idea, would like that here.
