New Everton Stadium

That volume of water isn't just getting in from somewhere due to poor design. There's a clear issue with the roof, potentially the rainwater outlet. Given it's in the corner, then this is likely where the rainwater outlet/downpipe is so there's likely an issue with that.

Worry about it if it happens during a match day after opening and not when the stadium isn't finished yet. Granted, you wouldn't expect it to be happening at this stage but It's an obvious issue that LoR will be aware of and need to sort.

People in the post suggesting that the covers over the expansion gap are currently temporary until everything is finished. So hopefully that'll all be sorted out soon and the expansion gap coverings will look a lot better than what's currently on there.

Tottenham stadium, Emirates, Etihad, Villa Park, Bernabeau, Vicente Calderon, Parkhead, Ibrox, all better, I could name loads more !!
So you think a stadium that no longer exists in Spain is better than a stadium you've never been in and is not finished in England?
Also Parkhead, Emirates and the Etihad are nothing to write home about.

The Emirates is an interesting one.
The difference in atmosphere between it and Highbury is huge.
I'm glad every effort was taken to keep BMD claustrophobic!

You wouldn't get that volume from the expansion gaps and i'm not convinced that what's been installed is temporary anyway.

That video looks to me like it's an issue with the gutter and/or the siphonic rainwater system.

A failure/none connection of the siphonic drainage would be my guess as its so focused and a huge volume of water. The siphonic systems store it up to a certain volume then let all go at once.

Whatever it is though, it won't be a regular occurrence on a matchday, it'll be resolved I'm sure.

It won't be a major issue in the sense that it won't be a huge undertaking to resolve. Either something has failed/ not been fitted correctly or possibly just not completed yet. Obviously having huge volumes of water entering the ground like that isn't ideal but the stands should all be sealed so it shouldn't be causing damage internally.

I'm sure LoR will be around for a while after the official handover anyway. Even if everything is substantially completed, there will be a minimum 12 month defects correction period in which they will need to resolve issues.
