New Everton Stadium

On the renders the pitch fits. In real life it doesn't.
Why do you think they’re too scared to put down the grass?

LOR are just going to keep ploughing it every day until handover and hope that Everton don’t notice.

“Sorry, lads, we ploughed too long and didn’t get chance to plant the grass, you don’t mind sorting that do you? Cheers, bye!”

I've heard they robbed Lutons old plastic pitch from 1987 and have had it stored in a corridor in Goodison, ready to roll out in a "sh*t we need a small pitch" emergency situation.

They said if people kick off too much about the plastic pitch, they'll just turn BMD into a golf driving range with a little pitch and putt section down the North stand and pedalos for hire in the west stand river section. Basically, an upmarket Gullivers World.

They’ve only got themselves to blame.

It’s a shame, really.

To put it in perspective for those moaning about the size...never in our history have we had an average gate of 53k or more*

I know there's a huge waiting list now, but that's only shot up the past few years since the build started. So no doubt lots will be on the list to see Goodisons final years as well as the start of BMD. I'm sure that number will fall significantly once pricing is revealed / the novelty wears off in a few years. Particularly if we're still gash on the field.

* note - I realise some of the attendances figures quoted in the days of pay on the gate were 'dubious'.

I wouldn't use the word "moaning"

They're raising concerns about the stadium capacity. That'll never go because we are a big club and people are looking at Newcastle and Aston Villa and others looking to expand capacity to 60,000+

People are merely expressing concerns about adequate capacity, future proofing and having what we need for our business

It's not moaning. It's wanting the best for EFC

Prior to Friedkin Group. I'd of said there's no chance but they are profit driven plus have the capital to do these things

If they think 60,000+ is better for Everton I'm convinced they'll initiate it immediately and no messing around. So at the moment I'm in wait and see mode. They won't let the business or stadium languish. It'll be what we as a business need it to be

I bet Kenwright's seat in the Main Stand still smells of farts. Hope they don't auction that off, just burn it tbh.

If I could purchase something from Goodison after the final game it would be this bad boy for the garden.

Think a pop up stall outside Goodison on the last game would do well, selling ring spanners, adjustables and wd 40.
Be good that because if we're deep in the relegation mire fans can lob them at the players as they exit the field of play following another drab and disappointing defeat. I'm gonna email the club and suggest that.
