It was clearly stated beforehand that the meeting was to discuss 2 possible locations, and we all already knew what both were. It would be incredibly bizarre to NOT have any material for SC there. They had material for both, and discussed both, and them discussing it tells us nothing about any decisions made. The ONLY evidence of a direction they are going will be post-meeting info, and you can possible chose Anderson's tweet to be some.

The Echo online tonight has more detail, assuming those words were uttered by JA since the meeting. From his words, he confirms that Everton are in talks with a non-LCC landowner on a docks site and LCC would support that outcome. But as Mayor (rather than a fan) he seems to be saying that the SC site would be preferable to the city in terms of jobs and redevelopment.
Isn't that basically the same story he come out with a couple months back?

But if that were accurate they would be long past the stage where a glossy prospectus is part of the presentation. It looks a lot more like a photo op for Joe's campaign.
