New Everton Stadium

It was clearly stated beforehand that the meeting was to discuss 2 possible locations, and we all already knew what both were. It would be incredibly bizarre to NOT have any material for SC there. They had material for both, and discussed both, and them discussing it tells us nothing about any decisions made. The ONLY evidence of a direction they are going will be post-meeting info, and you can possible chose Anderson's tweet to be some.

To be honest we can draw no conclusions on the location of the stadium from that picture. As @ToffeeDoug said earlier both sites were on the agenda.

Moshiri's preferred site is said to be be the docks. Clearly we are at decision time.

The Echo online tonight has more detail, assuming those words were uttered by JA since the meeting. From his words, he confirms that Everton are in talks with a non-LCC landowner on a docks site and LCC would support that outcome. But as Mayor (rather than a fan) he seems to be saying that the SC site would be preferable to the city in terms of jobs and redevelopment.

Isn't that basically the same story he come out with a couple months back?

If you zoom in, you can see the name JOHN WHITTAKER at the top of one of the white pieces of paper on the table (John Whittaker is the top man at Peel holdings for those that don't know)

I've squinted and squinted, rotated it and zoomed in larger and I still can't read it, but it is very clearly an email and lengthy one as well.

As I think has been said Anderson is an man running for election, i have been told that people running for election may make promises and statements they can't keep?
No one from the club has mentioned timescale or location, our new owner is not out tweeting and making promises, he is getting on with business let Joe sell his BS and wait for the club to announce something, all we can be sure of is things are happening finally, and we have a real chance of finally making progress.
Discard the mayors Crap, all PR propaganda

I and others have waited so long for a little hope.
A new Manager, a new Director of football( hopefully) and a new ground in the making.

I hope this is not some wild dream I'm having, if I wake up all of a sudden I'll be devastated.

Remember, the Mayor said not long ago that it wasnt his job to find Everton a site/ground, it was to help them/us.

If he has his preferred site, and we have ours, then he will presumably help us with our choice.

I hope.
