New Everton Stadium

Lower concourse doesn't have anything to suggest they will divide it into sections. Can't find the plans for the upper section but from memory they're the same. Pretty sure the away fans are on a different level all together so you will be able to walk through
are these what your looking for, these are the latest plans I have, the concourses are in light blue

It would only be the same as most other major venues e.g. Wembley, AO Arena etc.

The seat issue doesn't matter as they will either already be sold out, so you'd be trying to sit in someone else's seat which you don't have a ticket for, OR it wouldn't really matter anyway from a crowd control perspective as the seat isn't occupied.

The hospitality areas will be closed off so there's no issue from people trying to get into those without the relevant ticket.

In terms of the concourses, human dynamics suggest that people aren't just going to queue at a handful of overcrowded concessions while others are less busy.

There is a strong possibility a lot of people will want to go to the Upper South bar, for the view, but i expect that will be a novelty which will wear off; it won't be a consistent issue. Apparently the South Stand concourses have been designed for a larger capacity than they can currently hold anyway, so there should be plenty of room.

I don't think it can be understated just how much bigger Bramley Moore is to Goodison and how much more space we will have on the concourses, even with the increase in supporter numbers.

Could it maybe cause an issue in the safe standing area? I know the ratio is 1:1 but could potentially have a situation where people want to squeeze in next to their mates, particularly at a big game?

Unlikely to be a huge issue though.

It's 1:1 so won't be an issue. Obviously someone might try it on but they could do the same at Goodison given everyone stands in the Gwladys currently.

I think that additional season ticket numbers will be limited so there will be plenty of scope for people to get a ticket for pretty much anywhere they would like to.

Thanks for these, great to have a copy.

So looking at the plans it appears that the lower concourse has free movement pretty much from the NW to SW corner.

The upper concourse is more restricted. NE partitioned for away fans. Looks like it's open from the east stand round to the SW corner. NW corner also partitioned from the rest

There is general admission between the main upper and lower as well on both North corners. Looks like they both have separate exits. I imagine the NE corner of this can be sold to home or away depending on allocation size

I was reliably told a while ago that it is possible in the sense of the original design allowed it, however Everton may introduce sectioning off to top it occurring.

You could theoretically walk from the South Stand concourse around one of the East or West stands and reach the North, but they talked about installing doors.
No way, you will be in your own stand and that's it
