Another factor is that there's not quite the river of excrement and urine flowing in to there that some people might think there is. I mean, obviously human waste is processed there, but I'm pretty sure it also processes other waste water from appliances and baths, showers, etc as well as a never ending supply of rainwater. It's not just a river of faeces and bog juice.

It's so obvious what you say is true mate. Went to New Brighton for the first time in ages and couldn't believe the colour of the sand and the clear water with fish visible. I remember it as mud and a smell of oil and turds. It was cleaner than many a beach and seafront than the Costa Del Sol. Truly amazed.

Appreciated mate. So Blackstone street is the BMD end of Boundary street....never knew that. I take it access to the Chinese supermarket won't be affected then apart from heavy traffic.

Yeah. I only found that out recently. Boundary street carries on but not in a straight line, it does a right towards Bootle. Supposedly, it dates from when Kirkdale was what was known as a township and was not yet officially part of the city. Hence the name, Boundary St.

Well the whole road will be closed to vehicles around match times so in theory cyclists can cycle wherever they want. They won't specifically close the cycleway though, we've got loads of cycle racks installed at BM so we're actively promoting it as a method of sustainable travel to the game.

When is the handover date planned for? I am a bit scared of it then being solely in Everton's hands as the club generally destroys everything it is in charge of. Wouldn't surprise me if they decided to make some structural changes to the stadium and it ended up falling down.

I can’t remember seeing the exact date, there will be one but just know it’s in December. Will be before Christmas so probably be around the 20th at the latest, but off course this can overrun depending if on schedule.
