New Everton Stadium

I quite like the shrinking complaints from @davek over the years. It will never get approved, it will never get built, the wind turbines will overshadow the stadium, you won’t be able to see it over the wall.

We’re now at the point of the lights being somewhat too focussed, rather than slightly more dispersed.

All of these are always an utter disgrace, and a total embarrassment to the club.

In 6 months time, the complaint of the day will be a snapped branch on a tree in the East Plaza.
Ha ha ha.

Yeah, 'somewhat too focussed'.

I'll say.

How are the team coaches going to get to (and leave) the west side? Does anyone know the route around the stadium? Some images have shown an Everton bus outside the steps but I’m wondering exactly how it gets there. And how it’s supposed to leave. If it heads in the same direction it looks a tight turn left along the South stand to say the least.

Good question. Will the road for the coach be between the fence and the pillars or between the pillars and the stand?

I imagine it would turn right over the bridge and around the car park to come back down behind the North Stand.

I see they've now laid the coloured asphalt under the north stand.

Thanks, so 31m to 37m is probably the gap. I'd say 3m is the min you need so the roof had 3m of leeway?? Would you agree?

I'll have to get back to you on that. Almost certainly you could have more though as the back rows could be a bit higher than the bottom of the roof truss that goes across the width and still be able to see the whole pitch. The problem then becomes how that section is supported and how the roof extension that covers it, looks.

I'll photoshop it when I get chance, to see how many extra rows can be added whilst keeping the outline existing roof in place. I can't see them ever messing around with the South stand though, because the number of rows wouldn't warrant the outlay.

Not much more than what you can see in that picture at the moment. But gives us a good idea of what it looks like.
Looks like they've done probably 2/3rds of it to be fair but I haven't seen a decent shot of it yet.

When complete it will extend up to where the tunnel starts, then change to granite, and then back to coloured asphalt again at the bridge.

I see what you mean with that edge strip. I was talking about that section they've done doesn't extend under the stand at the moment:
