New Everton Stadium

I see what you mean with that edge strip. I was talking about that section they've done doesn't extend under the stand at the moment:

Difficult to tell, but looks like they may have only done up to the column line beneath the stand and not beyond that yet.

Hopefully be done soon, my OCD can't handle having stuff only half done for so long

Ah that would make sense. Thank you.
According to the documents submitted at Planning, the team coach also has the option of turning and heading in front of the South Stand. Although there is conflicting information as the Design & Access Statement only shows coaches going North, whereas another seperate drawing shows both routes.

Regardless, for either route the coach will be escorted to avoid any conflicts with supporters. I suspect North would always be the preference unless there was a particular reason why it couldn't.

Good question. Will the road for the coach be between the fence and the pillars or between the pillars and the stand?

Thanks, so 31m to 37m is probably the gap. I'd say 3m is the min you need so the roof had 3m of leeway?? Would you agree?

For a bit of fun I was able to add 9 more rows and extend the corners up a touch, whilst keeping the roof the same. It's roughly 4m taller with an extra capacity of around 2500.

Of course it would mean we lose the reflection from Nelson dock with the glass vertical.

Whether the supporting structure can take the extra weight is a different conversation altogether.

I had a tour of the ground this morning,
Its amazing,
We were shown around the south and west stands, changing room, showers, players bath (small swimming pool basically) press room, also went down the players tunnel to the side of the pitch.
Loads of legroom in the seats
Concourses are huge, south stand views over the docks are fantastic and the guy taking us around said it was the longest bar/food area in Europe,
West stand has lifts as well as escalators and stairs, no lifts in south stand.
Oh and for those who like a drink the bars in the south stand are open for two an a half hours after the match.
LOR are on schedule to hand over to Everton on 20th December.
Great start to a Sunday, i actually got the tingles going out the players tunnel and taking it all in

Boss that mate, how did you manage to get a tour of it if you don't mind me asking?

@Neiler according to this it’s 20th December. There was a drone video from last night or this morning saying it would be 8 days. I thought that was far too soon myself.
