New Everton Stadium

I'm sure they'll have something sorted for when away teams don't take their full allocation as well, though might be a little trickier as the lower part is standing and then above the wheelchair access it's seating. I'm sure they'll find a way though.
Judging by what information is currently available though, I really can't see a way how they could do that.

Area in green is the Away end Safe Standing, and the red is Away end Seating. It looks like both of these sections share the only 3 entranceways (and concourse) in the Away end. You couldn't have home and away fans sharing the same concourse / steps, there'd be carnage

Would hope there’s a way to isolate one of those upper and lower blocks in the event they don’t sell out.
Would be increasingly poor planning if not.

Courtesy of @phil_t98 latest video. You can see above the wheelchair access it's normal seating for the away fans and below the wheelchair access it's standing.
Still amazed there’s not more seats in those accessibility areas.
I know wheel chairs come in various shapes and sizes but that looks like you could wheel in somebody in an iron lung!

I suppose something like this could potentially work

A sliding / temporary wall may be installed in the dedicated Away end concourse (green for Away fans, red for home fans).

Only way this would work is if there is actually a way for home fans to get to their side of the concoure without using the Away fan entrance (possibly through a separate North stand entrance?)

Maybe mate. I just don't think they'll want 1 seat left available if they can help it.

Just noticed these seats too in the away end. Is it just me, or if you're sat here, will you not actually be able to see the south stand goal at all due to the raised accessibility platform on your left?! Or is it just a perspective thing? Look horrificly restricted if not.

Me and the @The binman chronicles have discussed this loads of times mate. It's It's same on the other side of the away end where we think the corner flag on the south west would be restricted.

But Everton have said there isn't 1 restricted view in the whole stadium, so I guess we won't know until away fans turn up. You deffo wouldn't want to be a little kid sat in any of those seats like as I'm sure it'll affect the view.

Does seem so, unless they're able to see through the glass when sitting/standing

I wouldn't really say it's bad planning. It's a designated away area, if they don't sell out they don't sell out, in most stadiums it just means they will have empty seats in that section. Goodison is a bit of an anomaly in that sense, in that we basically ask the away club whether they want the whole allocation or only half of it, because the 2 sections are totally separate. There aren't too many other stadiums where that happens that I can think of, and certainly not the modern ones.
