New Everton Stadium

You're 25 years out of date with this. I sympathise to a point, but the reality is the Premier League is now a globalised league with globalised players. Even the England manager is a foreigner. After the globalised league - nobody calls it the English League any more - and the global players come the global fans.

If Everton wants to compete at the top, then the old cosy days of being a provincial, parochial club are over. It's a global game now with global rules. I'm not condoning any of this - here in Germany the game is far more local and parochial than it is in England, and it's better for it - but, as always, England is far more right-wing on economic and social matters and embraced the wild west of football capitalism in ways the continentals never dared. I blame Thatcher.

IMO there should be a part (or parts) of the ground like this 'club view' place where they utterly take the piss with people who can afford it and that can be used to subsidise season ticket membership elsewhere.

It's ok saying it's 25 years out of date to try and peg ticket prices back, but the reality is that we have a primarily local fanbase and I'd be amazed if we dont we have probably the highest level of people on low(er) incomes who somehow cobble together to buy Goodison season tickets (and share the cost with another) in the PL.

You cant exploit what's not there to be exploited.

Let's see how the new owners approach this.

Craig had it displayed at the end of his video, he said HMS Prince of Wales is coming to Liverpool. Not sure why that would block it though and especially for that long. Or is there something else I missed?

Well that is an aircraft carrier so maybe they got helicopters or others taking off and landing whilst in Liverpool ?

Ether that or they don’t want random drones flying over the ship whilst it’s docked perhaps

We always knew season ticket prices will have to go up when we move into the new stadium and one would have to be incredibly naive to think it wouldn’t.

It’s about how much these price rises will be and if it’s value for money

People: "can't wait for the new stadium and to finally have money to spend on players".

Also people: "what do you mean you're having loads of premium seating i can't afford? Greedy. Deplorable. Peoples club my backside."

What were people expecting to happen? The club spent £700m on a stadium. Theyre going to try and recoup that as quickly as possible and generate more revenue than they could at Goodison.

Just wait for the ST prices to drop. That's when you're going to fume. Am I happy? No. Do I enjoy watching Everton right now? Absolutely not... so if anyone extra £150 I'd what it takes to sign better players then so be.
