Maybe it's the fact that the site's been cleaned up, or maybe it's all of the ground level shots, but this video really set in a sense of "Oh this stadium really is special" with me.

Correct - it looks fantastic.

The only (minor) moan is that the blue lights are a bit “meh” - was expecting more than a series of dots.

I can see that. I think the dispersed lighting would look better but I have a soft spot for the dot lights. Lets other teams know that we're gonna be putting them to the burner when they play us.

Purely hypothetical, but what would the consensus be if TFG sold the stadium to a pension fund for arguments sake, for let’s say £750m on a 100 year lease back deal (let’s say £9m p/a rent), then allowed £400m of the revenue to be used for a rebuild of the playing operations?
Would you take it or do you demand we own our stadium outright?

That’s the infra-red grass growing lights. I’m not sure anyone’s invented infra-blue yet have they?

We want to own it. The club has buckled under the weight of this build, but it hasn’t broken.

We deserve to benefit in full from ownership after what it’s put us through. It’s our ground.

Opinion seems to be pretty universal that they are underwhelming. So you’d think those in charge are disappointed also.

Fortunately it’s a minor cosmetic detail that’s rectifiable in time - and I’m sure it will be.

This was raised previously. Don't Everton FC have to own it? Something to do with the lease? If it could be sold and rented back, couldn't Moshiri have done that to get his money back?
