New Everton Stadium

That's true. I hope Merseyrail put on extra/longer trains. It will be very, busy on a Saturday afternoon with shoppers going into and out of town. Also there is a finite number Sandhills can deal with in an hour. That is another reason we need a new station for Ten Streets. I am keen to see what specific plans there are all forms of public transport. So far they are very vague..

If that makes me a headbanger, fine

Where will the Soccerbuses be from? How many? How long before and after the game? If they get it right. Fine. It is doable. Do it half arsed and box ticking, then poor. The devil is in the detail. We don't know that detail, yet

That's the reason I post on public transport. We still don't know much. We know the location, capacity, steepness of stands, how many season ticket holders, the prices and those discussions have taken place on these pages. Now it's the turn of the "how are we going to get there?" discussion. It's an important topic. And no matter how many people insist on here, 53,000 people don't want to walk from the city centre

Where will the soccer busses come from? The same place they do now.

You do know anfield has a bigger capacity and further away from the train stations?

Is your life really that miserable you can't apply any serious critical thinking so you just think everything is doom and gloom?

Get a bus, or a taxi, or a lift or walk. The same way they do to get to Goodison and have done for over 100 yrs.

Where are they coming from though?

The stadium has been completed and handed over, only got these screen shots but can clearly see on these that there are wet patches everywhere, look at the players tunnel.

They’ve been cleaning the stands as part of handover which I would assume includes hosing down sections.
Hard to say what the true rain impact is - I wouldn’t worry about it.
If there’s a problem it will be fixed.

The amount of bed wetting going on in here is genuinely hilarious, I'd say you couldn't write it but I'm pretty sure any comedy writer who knows of Everton would write this exactly the way this thread is playing out - because it plays right into the caricature of a certain base of Everton fans.

1. Bed wetting about getting wet in a stadium that noone has sat in yet, has no idea that there is any issue in the first place and even if there were to be is something that could likely be retrospectively fixed, if a flaw in the design was identified.

2. Bed wetting about public transport, before it's even held an event yet. Folk have literally no idea what transport options will be available on the day and what the club, council or any other bodies have in mind to support the crowd management around the stadium.

Get a grip and enjoy the fact we are moving to one of the best, most modern and state of the art stadiums in Europe in around 6 months time.

It's going to be an absolute belter.
If you are including me in this, allow me to say that I have made the point that we still don't know what the public transport plans are, yet, on several occasions. I have suggested what possible solutions there are to make getting there and away from the stadium by public transport better than it currently is. I have also suggested that once the plans are announced (quite soon, I hope) I am keen to see what they are, but they must be robust. If not, we need to put pressure to bear to make sure they are improved.

Why is that in anyway, shape or form controversial for some on here? I don't get it. For that I have been called a bulb, a headbanger and had a disgusting meme posted by way of an insult. And now a bedwetter.

My life isn't miserable. I'm very happy, thank you.

They can't be an issue at this point, correct.

There has been no event held to determine there is an issue or not, stating there is an issue as a matter of fact is premature bed wetting at its finest. But you know that already.
A couple of posts back, I was asked to use critical thinking. I am and I do. As someone who lives locally and knows current bus routes and the current train services and where stations are, I have made suggestions as to how the trains and Soccerbuses might be improved in light of our ground move. That's controversial for some.
