Bad attempts at calling you a liar? I asked you for evidence of your claim that UU tried to stop the stadium development and you've not been able to provide anything other than you know (allegedly) a Senior Project Manager at LoR and your best mate is a Chartered Engineer working on the stadium.

There is absolutely ZERO record of any objection from UU to the project through the planning process. How exactly were they trying to stop the stadium from going ahead? On what grounds?

Just tell us all here exactly what UU were objecting to and on what grounds they were trying to stop the stadium from going ahead. I don't need anyone to divulge any confidential information.

UU are a statutory consultee on every single development, whether they are next door to it or not. There is no record of any formal objection to the development anywhere. I spoke to someone in the Developer services team about this when I first saw it mentioned a while ago, they knew nothing about it either.

The only thing UU can legitimately have raised concern with is capacity at the WWTW. However, they are duty bound to provide that capacity and can't prevent any development from going ahead on that basis. They also confirmed at planning stage they had no objection with respect to drainage.

So what else is there?

True, but many still argued the toss when the obvious flaws, the corrupted Hobson's Choice ballot and other options were pointed out to them. Only slowly as those issues were fully exposed, did the bulk of that support drop off dramatically.

so united utilities were objecting to their own landlord building on his own land, that will go down well at the next rent review
