Gone are the days where you might get £50 in your back pocket or let your mate go instead. The new face recognition turnstiles will ensure you all dance to our merry tune.

They get an extra one just to spite us.

Just imagine getting a red to watch a few of our games, the only way you'd keep them doing so would be to strap them in like thus:

I don’t necessarily. I understand that as employees of the club then that’s a benefit bestowed on them. I’m sure that there isn’t enough of them to make a difference in us regular fans getting the tickets we want.

Did to me,virtually all of front row south upper tier unavailable at commencement of sales at 10am

My Dad wanted a specific seat on the front row of the upper West block 200. He got one about 5 seats away about 10.20 after it was previously unavailable.
I think people were adding loads to there basket and then either not buying or having problems and they were comig back online as available.
He would of had no idea how to do it though only I went round to help them. His blood pressure was through the roof every time he tried to add an available one to his basket only for it to be gone.

The Everton commercial team got first dibs by about 3k mate.

Yeah not sure how many changes they let you during the season. Dont sell mine only ever give friends/family for free

And I appreciate that. Thing is we don’t know the eligibility criteria so that a moot point to be fair. I would like to think a kopite working as a steward since November wouldn’t be eligible. Then again I don’t know . Everton are always going to look after their employees so whatever criteria they choose is immaterial. It’s happened and we can’t change it. Doesn’t take away from the fact there are thousands of available seats with excellent views available.

Surely if they're able to attend matches on a match day and they're Evertonians who wished to go the game they'd already have a season ticket/membership. If not they don’t deserve one. If they have I dont see why it shouldn't go on tenure like everyone else. And they certainly shouldn't be getting an extra one for their mate.

Really? It's a business with about 500+ employees in the liver building and finch farm has about 200.

You do the maths. They definitely abused it before the new ownership came in.

And yes I know of a few Kopite's working there who've took advantage of it.

What's the point in ticket office staff getting a season ticket anyway as they have to work till about half time on a match day anyway? And aren't they clamping down on people giving tickets to other people to use

They shut up shop just before kick off.

I remember the semi final and final with Moyes in 09 a lot of people got annoyed they got a substantial number of tickets, including a lot of reds who bragged about getting free travel.

If they employ the best even if they're reds, this is expected.

With 52100 seats left available after your maths, with no restricted views, I’m struggling to see the massive issue. Yes they’ve jumped the queue but as employees it’s expected.

I can't help but think that had people not recieved the message about staff tickets, then nothing would ever had been known. Which is, I expect the outcome that they had wished for.

It certainly explains the massive greyed out areas when purchasing away tickets

He did, but I think he somehow ended up with a season ticket at Bolton’s Reebok stadium or something
