I just cant imagine calling it anything else, bar goodison park! Its like when had badge change! Tho lukaku signing and new stadium on the horizon, what more can you ask for the club in aseason

I've always felt the same but weirdly 'Walton Hall Park' is actually alright and a name I could live with.

If we get anywhere near building the stadium, then I am relatively confident that the naming rights to the stadium will be sold.

It's a viable way of raising capital to help construction and has became the norm for many clubs these days. Not perfect, but a realistic prospect.

IF and its a big IF, a new stadium is to be built with a partner leasing it to us. They won't be doing it out of the goodness of there hearts, they will want a pound of flesh.

It could end up like a PFI deal.

Would it not be worthwhile to improve on Goodison, how much could we extend the capacity of Goodison by? I'd feel devastated if we left GP. Just look at the Emirates, incredible stadium and a horrendously dull atmosphere.

I asked a senior figure at the club this week and was told there is not an imminent announcement as per the rumour mill but some progress has been made.
