New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Slightly tempted to head for the lower south now, just waiting for my cousin's tenure to come up (5th March). For those more informed than me, what do we think the chance is of getting a pair together by then? Appreciate it's a lot of guesswork and probability like
There is a lot of space in the lower wings.

Since their go to 'Best Stadium in the Championship' bantz is fast fading - they are scrambling to inject other negative spin on the fantastic undertaking Bramley Moore is.
Pathetic, but totally expected from that classless bunch of whoppers.

Following on from their ‘all I can see is a cone’ ‘banter’.

They’re absolutely killed by this new stadium. They know they’ve slept on the opportunity and we’ve made the first strategic move ahead of them off the pitch that we have in a long time.

Great reading the reports on here, and seeing the photos and videos. The pace looks incredible. Even better, in a way, is seeing rave reviews in the national papers - Times, Guardian, Telegraph, all blown away by it.

I'm yet to pick my seat, and there probably won't be a huge amount of choice, but I'm still a bit concerned about sitting up in the gods. Not the view, I reckon it will be spectacular, but the climb up there. I thought my hillwalking days were behind me.
Lots of negative press in the daily heil.

They're still fuming 'Staples' pulled out of their sponsorship deal for the main stand.

I was sat Block 213, row 36, seat 355. Great view up there.

I managed to get look at my new seat early doors as well, ensuring that I was the first to actually sit in it (well, my Son was, but hey ho). My ST seat is much more central. Feels similar in distance as my current PE seat, but the added height really opens the pitch up.

As you say, that moment you first step out is a real treat. When I was at my seat, I was watching cir about 10 minutes as people first stepped out. The faces ranged from shock, to joy and absolute disbelief. I lost count of how many were just simply left open-mouthed at what was presented in front of them.

And boy is it steep. Tarkowski in the 98th against Liverpool would have left me with several broken bones and requiring a passport to get back to my seat.

Similarly, I had no problems with transport, but I did leave early due to having my youngest with me and he was really cold. Travelling in through Liverpool on the Northern was really busy, but likely exacerbated by it being at 5pm, so peak commuter time. In future, I'll likely get the train in to Sandhills, then walk back into town grabbing a few drinks on the way. Maybe jump the bus if the weather is really bad.
That's good to hear as my new seat is close to there, 214 row behind and about 20 further round, it did feel like a gamble choosing a seat without viewing it in person

You’re in there for two hours.

There’s no real need to get food anyway.

It’s pretty much standard pricing these days and the quality and choice is a lot better.

If a pint is £9 or whatever it’s going to be then so what. Just is what it is nobody is forcing people to buy anything.
Completely missing the point of the new stadium, the idea is to get people to spend, they don't want you to come to the match and then go home having spent £0 the idea is to maximise revenue streams, get supporters to spend while they are there, come early and leave later, getting the pricing right is vital!
