New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Probably the wrong thread, but as we get closer to Goodison being pulled down, I'm increasingly struggling with the thought of specifically the Bullens and Gwladys getting bulldozed. Someone on the peoples forum last night had the great idea of a new national football museum being put in place. Surely it's not beyond the realms of possibility that those two stands could be converted into a football museum amongst the legacy project?

If there's any structures in UK football that should be preserved in some creative way, it's those two stands.
There’s a national football museum in Manchester, I don’t think two within 30-odd miles would be sustainable.

I want our latin speaking players reading it before each game. I want them to read it over and over until they realise, they haven't listened to a word Moyesy has said. That's the Everton we know and love.
It's a mistake. A stupid mistake.

It's an easily fixed stupid mistake.

They should fix it.

Are you going to do the stadium tour when they begin them Dave? If so, I would love to be a fly on the upside-down wrong way round everton badge listening to you nitpicking below.
I'd pipe up to tell anyone if I was on that tour.

By the way, is there any news of when they'll be allowed to happen?

I've never really noticed anyone else using "wor" as often as wor Moysie does

Is it a Partick thing? (I think that's where he grew up anyway)

Yes, it is pretty peculiar to him in management anyway.

It's not just a Partick thing. Glasgow and surrounding districts I'd say.

He also uses the word "embdy" = anybody.

Maybe he thinks he's retaining some connection to his roots. Ild like him to make more of a reconnection with those roots, tbf.

I doubt it's because of that imo. They're fine with referencing the name Dixie on all official channels. It's probably a marketing thing the way they insisted labelling the crest with Everton.
Definitely a marketing thing.
During the Euros, the stadium wont be able to use the sponsors name and will revert back to "Everton Stadium". That'll be huge PR for the club.

Have already posted on here previously with the Friedken group looking at withdrawing the Walton hall park site, surely a "scaled down" Goodison would be an idea as a base for our under 18/21/ladies teams?

Here’s a question for season ticket holders who had 23+ tenure…as the first people to be able to buy seats, did you have the pick of the entire stadium (except for the corporate stuff of course) or had the club already ‘greyed out’ the seats that will be offered for general sale on a match by match basis? If they didn’t do that, presumably the general sale seats will be the ‘leftovers’ after all ST holders and the ‘12 March newbies’ have selected their seats by 31 March.

The best 'generally available' seats had already gone to staff and their family/friends. Apart from that, it was free choice.

I would assume that freely purchasable tickets will simply be what's left after all tickets have been purchased.

I've always felt the positioning of that club badge is the wrong way round than we want it.

As cameras are coming into the dressing room the crest should have the motto readable to the oncomer.

How stupid is that they didn't turn it that way?

You might say it's the players who need to be reminded of it, but it's a public consumption thing, surely?
Personally, I feel that the badge on the ceiling just looks stupid no matter what way it's facing.

So essentially some front row (bring a mac) seats or above the away corner. Do we know how many have been put aside for general sale?... asking for a friend (well me dad who got sh4fted by the club on the waiting list)
