New Everton Stadium

You do need a waiver to fly over football stadiums.

You basically have to inform local agencies of your intentions and the zones are geoblocked - at least on my Mavic they are, can’t speak for anything else.
Sub 250g drone though ? Don't think geoblocks are in place over most stadiums outside of matchdays/events ?

They need to complete the evacuation to get the safety licence. It will be towards the end of the game as well so no one will miss much.
Rather they did it and learn from mistakes during a drill than make a mess of it in a real emergency.
I'm interested to see when they do it. Would have thought they wouldn't want to leave it too late and have it at a point when loads of people are leaving/have left anyway because it would kind of defeat the object. Maybe 75-80 minutes would be the most likely.

Will they allow people to leave early before they have to do an evacuation?

Thinking back to the first test match and there were people leaving before half time, never mind towards the end of a game, but I would’ve thought that they would need enough people to still be around to do a large scale one?

I think people are more likely to hang about for a bit longer at this one than the first one because it's an afternoon rather than evening game, there are more areas open, and the players are likely to be more familiar to people too, but yeah I can't imagine they'll want to leave it too late and risk half the crowd having already disappeared.

I would’ve thought so. It’s something I thought would have a pre-requisite stipulating x amount of people need to participate in an evacuation, in order for it to be valid, hence why I’m wondering if they even allow people to leave before we all have to. I’m going to the match Sunday, so will find out first hand how it works out.

Don't quote me on it but I would imagine legally they have to allow you to leave whenever you want, otherwise it's effectively false imprisonment.

Thought I was in the "Moyes substitution prediction" thread

Think by releasing the info now, they are hoping that everyone will stay until the evacuation. They won’t be able to force us to stay mind.

I was speaking to the head steward in the top balcony on sat, and he said the club were gutted that so many left well before the first half had finished at the first test, as it didn’t give them a chance to test exit protocols and all the equipment (lifts escalators etc) properly, as per a real match situation.

Didn’t get it me - They had to kick me out, think I was one of the last to leave!

10 streets has been there a few years and is a bit further down towards town. The new ones are directly opposite the ground one is called the Holy Trinity which is a fan plaza where Terry’s Timber used to be, St Domingo’s and I think the Hot Wok are doing something called the Blue House. Also further down towards town is Murphy’s distillery which is new and the Invisible Wind Factory which has also been there a few years now.
Terrace Bar next to St Domingo’s too
