I fail to see how a competition that promotes togetherness and brings literally all the different people of the world together. There will be some sort of solution to any smell problem - anything affecting the stadium area would have the same effect on the rest of Liverpool Waters. Considering the amount of money being invested, they won't allow the smell of Merseyside's Saturday morning "special delivery" to take the gloss off of it

Kind of brings in two parts of this story in one there. The potential smell of sewage, and what Cadbury would smell like.

Imo he's doing the exact opposite. Moving us away from our smelly neighbours.
We will know soon as if it is the Bramley Moore dock then it IS next to something which stinks, especially in the summer. Its bad enough driving past, it would be horrific sitting there for 2-3 hours.
If they can do something about the smell then fantastic. If its something in particular that makes it smell at certain times, maybe the club can arrange a schedule so that whatever they do doesnt take place around match times?

Just have to wait and see if it's true or not.
If it is true I don't think it should be an issue as long as the stadium runs parallel to the Mersey and the away end is closest to it but still 100 or so meters away. Put up a massive tree hedge so you can't see it and problem gone, well as long as the odour reducing equipment work
