New Everton Stadium

Ah ok. Sounded ridiculous at the time but so did most of the bid.

Also, as rubbish as it will be having a World Cup there the stadiums do look pretty incredible.

Those images are from 6 years ago though so they may well have changed designs since then...

Like the first one most... But I thought the Kings dock stadium plans looked awesome when they were released... Not sure if it would look " dated" these days tho. Regarding the World Cup... I fail to see how a competition that promotes togetherness and brings literally all the different people of the world together. Can be held in a country that you can't drink in, are not allowed into if your Jewish and it's illegal to be gay lol not that I'm an alchohic Jew that loved having my ring destroyed.... But if I was it would mean I couldn't go to the World Cup... And that's bs imo

This document has a paragraph on this specifically. P131

It actually states that if it is found to emanate odour then UU are responsible for adding further odour control measures.

Thames Water, the company that manages the sewage works, said 140 million pounds ($217 million) was invested in the plant in 2013, including the installation of odour-reducing equipment and covers.

Kind of brings in two parts of this story in one there. The potential smell of sewage, and what Cadbury would smell like.

Are people still banging on about the sewage plant ? FFS, do you really think Moshiri is the kind of guy to build a stadium next to something which stinks ?

We will know soon as if it is the Bramley Moore dock then it IS next to something which stinks, especially in the summer. Its bad enough driving past, it would be horrific sitting there for 2-3 hours.

If they can do something about the smell then fantastic. If its something in particular that makes it smell at certain times, maybe the club can arrange a schedule so that whatever they do doesnt take place around match times?

Well according to the rumours we've bought the land adjacent, so yes...

Just have to wait and see if it's true or not.

If it is true I don't think it should be an issue as long as the stadium runs parallel to the Mersey and the away end is closest to it but still 100 or so meters away. Put up a massive tree hedge so you can't see it and problem gone, well as long as the odour reducing equipment work ;)
