I don't know. But we do have something to plan against.
Plus, it won't be an issue. The very fact a submission will be made will mean that as long as we're within certain parameters we'll get it.
There's no chance the government would even consider blocking or creating hassle over a stadium in the current economic climate.
It would also significantly shorten the timeframe on the development. And save cost.

@Jacko93 intimated that as long as the laid down rules/parameters were met, it wouldnt be an issue.
Dunno mate. I guess the rules are centrally laid down, and as long as LCC are happy they are met, then start the cement mixers.
I think the Home Office only get involved if objections mean LCC decline permisson, and the club can apply to them direct.
I think.
There was much more at stake with Kirkby as it was more to do with local livelihood being drawn out toward Kirkby cause of the Tesco. That's something that the Government are more likely to get involved in as it almost became an arbitrator over two seperate areas.
The docks is an area earmarked for development that has always included several different sectors, business, retail and social. It will be very difficult to argue against this based on that. IMO.

I know a lot of people would probably come in via Limestreet station or coming out from some pub in central Liverpool, but how is transportation links for 55,000 people and what is a likely improvement of transportation? Could imagine Regent Road would be filled with people walking to the game and Grt Howard street would have to absorb almost all of the traffic..
