I know my drawing comparisons is probably only going to piss some people off, but panic in the stadium thread after mucked up transfer deadline day and negative net spend...yep, seen that before. You can't draw conclusions from one to the other.

That said, Moshiri needs to deliver for you guys on this. He's restricted by FFP on player trading and obviously at the whims of other clubs, but he's not restricted by either on stadium spending. If he's going to get Everton competing surely he needs to show the stadium side of things is moving sooner rather than later.

Really though, I'd still be inclined to trust your ITKs on this. And Jacko's posts seem to hit the nail on the head.

There is zero correlation between the two.

If you look at club owners not spending any money at all on players I believe you will find there is some correlation with owners not delivering a new stadium... Not saying correlation is 1 but without any doubt there is some correlation

I believe it is wishfull thinking that Moshiris big fail to deliver what he promised in his first 6 month is not and indication of his ability/how trustworthy he is to get us a new ground.

How come almost nothing happened before we got the stones money? within days of receiving them they were spend and after that it all went silent again...

Passed along VauxhallRd/Sandhill tonight and it reeked. Location is untenable IMO if that can't be solved.
