I'm not saying I would believe him. I'm just curious to why he believes it because for the life of me I can't imagine the people who would know would be telling someone who then goes and confirms it on a football forum.

Lots of people leak stuff on social media, in all walks of life. You have footballers on a squillion quid a week posting/leaking stuff on Twitter/Facebook so it shouldn't be that hard to believe. Some people can't keep a secret.

glad I'm not alone in thinking this mate. We've barely scraped through the transfer window yet Everton feel it's acceptable to alternate home games between The City Centre and Goodison.

I guess it would us being a first again at being the only club playing in 2 stadiums.

Just build a megadome with a ski slope off one side and swing tennis on the other and we've nailed it.

glad I'm not alone in thinking this mate. We've barely scraped through the transfer window yet Everton feel it's acceptable to alternate home games between The City Centre and Goodison.

I guess it would us being a first again at being the only club playing in 2 stadiums.

We finally will have the space to build Friendly Phil's big retail park as well, could sell him the naming rights to Goodison as something like 'Stadia Arcadia'

It may be done in principle, but the finer details may be getting worked out. Such as the process of acquiring extra surrounding land currently occupied by businesses on Regent Road that may need to be relocated.

No point announcing that they've acquired the dock but not yet acquired the land across the road where the Fan Zone or the Car Park will be located.

I understand that, but cast your mind back a few years to DK: how much of that was in place before it was announced as a preferred location and a scheme formally launched?

As things stand we're miles off.
