Player Valuation: Free Transfer
Hello.

So I have wanted to choose a premier league team for some years now. I am thinking on Everton as I like the logo and kits are beautiful.

I am from Ontario, Canada. I support Toronto FC.

What playing style does you team play? Is it a rich history. I like hearing it straight from die hard fans rather then reading articles.

So sell me. Who is your big transfer signing lately? Anyting would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

If we have to " sell you " mate, you're never going to be an Evertonian.

Godspeed and Namaste.

First of all, welcome to GOT.

Moved your post to the 'New signing' forum where it should be.

Answering your question 'why Everton?' Well, I guess it's a case of you either get us or you don't.

I'm sorry, but I really can't give you a better reason. And if you do get us, I think you deep down already know.

Born not manufactured. We do not choose, we're chosen!

Everton's playing style is concede late, and it can't match TFC's history. Otherwise it's a perfectly miserable experience supporting Everton.

Welcome to the forum, eh? After awhile you'll know for sure whether you've been chosen. No club has a longer or richer history than Everton.

When you start to snap at your mates when LFC scores a goal, you'll know you've been chosen. When you get up and start reading the transfer news first thing in the morning, you'll know. When you're walking down the majestic streets of Walton (watch your step!) talking football with some just made new friends from someplace called "the Wirral", you'll know.

It's not perfect, but it can be miserable at times.

Who is this 'Everton', you speak of? I know of the Esk and even Mrs. The Esk, but this Ev, I don't know...

Everton are in all aspects a club for real fans. We aren't the most successful now days but there is plenty of passion about. just check on here alone to see how much fans actually care about the club. We were successful in the past and one of the big teams in England but a series of poor choices by the board ran us into the ground more than once.

so yeah, if you want a team to follow that has players who play for the badge and not the paycheck, fans who give a damn and it's not all about just winning trophies then you can't go far wrong picking everton. Just compare us to our neighbors liverpool, and that bunch of deluded kopites even have their own league table which has them always performing better than what they are just to keep themselves relevant in thier own heads.

right now would be a great time to follow us as well, we are going through a huge change which is just beginning this summer. Better players coming in, new manager who is a highly respected individual even from the likes of barcelona, and things hopefully are only going to get better from this point on.

But yeah, we aren't some random club in this country, we are the underachievers, the under dogs, the sleeping giants etc Football runs rich in this clubs veins and you may find so much of its history started with us, from shirt numbers to record goal scorers.
