Just wanted to get on board here. I am an American living and working in Germany for the last 10yrs. I got hooked on Soccer over here and a huge follower of USA players...I have watched Tim Howard a few games and was hoping Landon Donovan would have made it at Bayern. I knew he had grown up, but just wasn’t given the chance. Anyway since LD has came to Everton I don’t even follow the Bundesliga anymore. I am now HOOKED on the Blues. So much so that my whole office here (also Americans) have bought 13 Donovan Jerseys and 2 from Tim this month. I canceled my SKY Bundesliga and have the SKY PL package where we meet every weekend and root for our favorite team EVERTON! I love the chemistry there. We are planning a trip to see a game soon and can’t wait to get my number 9 Jersey and hit the Pub!!

Where in Germany are you? I will be watching the game on Saturday with a red nose for company. (ex Lark lane man) should be good craic.I live in Heide north of Hamburg
 
I am in the kaiserslaturen/Mannheim area. I hope they do well this weekend. I found a english pub now to go too:D which is good except I am still learning all the teams in the PL, of couse I have heard of the big ones...ManC, MAN UTD, Liverpool, but some of the others? well I am adjusting fairly well, but cant find many Germans to discuss PL with..but I dont care, seeing Everton out there just gives me a sense of pride(y)

1st lesson!you mentioned 'ALL THE BIG ONES' and made one fatal error........the [Poor language removed]....they think they are big.They are.......Financially.Thats all.
