I reckon Pienaar will be confirmed in the next 24 hours. Not sauced, just with all the news going on.

Singapore is crawling with reds - of the Manchester and Liverpool variety. So, not good on that front.

Cahill is part of the furniture, so it hurts to see him go.

I was worried when Arteta left, wondering where the creative spark might come from. But I was not saddened. It saddens me to see Cahill go.

If and when Pienaar comes in, and we manage to keep the usual suspects bandied around for sale (Baines and Felli for instance), we might be in for a good season. Fingers crossed.
