I personally think we need a new young keeper who will replace Howard who looked vulnerable last season, far too many mistakes

Sadly I think we will grab a free transfer mid thirties as a back up.

Think we need to get a new keeper to demote Howard to back up. Howard would be a very good back up keeper. Sick of us signing waste of time efforts like mucha hannemahn etc who last a few seasons then leave

Martinez said he would at least be acquiring a player for every position.

Goalkeepers are expensive these days, the cash we have needs to be used on players up front. We lack a box to box midfielder. That's far more important than replacing Howard.

He did make a few mistakes but he also made some great saves. Towards the end of the season we kept a few clean sheets one after the other.

He's not as bad as you make him out to be.
 
He needs replacing sooner than later. I just think rather than a cheap back up who's not even half decent, I'd rather we got someone who could mould into a number one spot in time.
 
Agreed, lets replace all of our established and experienced performers with young blokes that might end up good one day maybe.

Which costs money we don't have. There are more important things like buying a striker for next season who actually score goals, if Jelavic kept his form into last season we'd probably have Europa League football for next season.
And we can't keep relying on Fellaini (who might be off) to get important goals.

I moaned for most of last year about him. No doubt I'll do the same this year. Just like I'll moan when Jelavic misses an open goal again, or Mirallas pulls his hammy again, or Fellaini elbows someone in the head again.

Howard is a top 7-8 keeper, and we have a top 7-8 squad. It's just where Everton is.
 
Shame you guys missed on Butland, a bigger shame that he is playing for Stoke.

Wealthy backers who aren't in debt like we are. Almost all our turnover goes to player wages, but I expect their wages to go up significantly next season.
 
I still find it hard that no one wants to invest in us. Or they do but bk is asking outrageous prices.

I've lost count of the times he says he's in talks with investors many times a year but when it comes to the deal and putting money down they back out. I don't believe for ten years that every single investor who has shown interest in everton has then pulled out when it comes to showing the money.
