Liverpool Daily Post.co.uk - News - Liverpool News - REVIEW: One Night in Istanbul, Empire Theatre, Liverpool, with guest stars Steven Gerrard, Rafael Benitez and Jamie Carragher

******* hell, I'm getting worse as I grow older. I cant abide these phony ****s anymore with their backslapping [Poor language removed] and maudlin nonsense.

I see the infamous 'Horse With No Name' (incorporating the "MUNICH!" chant) was given an airing. I wonder if Rafael and Stevie joined in that one?

Oh, and that's an unfortunate last sentence to that review. I bet that one hasn't gone down too well.

There's a lot of money to be made by these <sniggers> "playwriters" off the backs of the gullible. Those Liverpool fans are getting fleeced every which way. If it isn't by joining "fans" groups like the Spirity of Shankly who rake it in in subs and by organising "boss nights at de Olympia, la", it's through paying through the nose to watch these wooden ****s splutter their way through a play punctuated by a Nuremburg rally of chanting.

Mugs.

"Just like goin the match like"
And I wonder if Saint Shields will be dropping by.

It'd be funny as **** if Jack Straw turned up.

Cue two thousand people screaming "Lerrim out, eees innercent yer cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunnnnnnnnnnnnnntttttttttttttttt!!!!! Juuuuuuuuuuuustice fer Michael."

Liverpool Echo.co.uk - Liverpool FC - News - Liverpool FC stars and fans flock to One Night In Istanbul

Dear me. My eyes are bleeding reading that:

"But when LFC manager Rafael emerged from the back of the stage with one of five European Cups the crowd went wild, prompting a standing ovation.
The Reds heroes also had an important message for the crowd, wearing armbands saying Justice, in honour of Michael Shields."

You couldn't make that up. FFS!!!!!!!!!!!!

HHHHHHHHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAAAA!!!!

Seems like a...erm...emotional night....

I hate to hog this thread, but can you believe that...ARMBANDS?

That is a disgrace.

What is it with that lot? FFS, they must spend their spare time gazing at the Amnesty International website and the special announcements section of the Echo looking for a new cause to adopt.

A complete shower of ****s from top to bottom.

I dont mind the fans getting involved but the players doing it aswell?

Just play football lads not political protests regarding a bloke that was found guilty of stoving a waiters head in with a paving stone.

But its all about being the 12th man aint it
