Ok first of all, I'm relatively new to football but I just wanted to say that this is by far the best Everton site I've found. I've been following Everton for a few seasons now and just found this forum after signing up for a twitter account. Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself after reading some of the forum posts.

I actually remember the distinct moment that I became a fan of Everton. I knew I hated ManU from the start, and after watching Tim Cahill score a fantastic header against them a few years back at Old Trafford and then proceed to punch the corner flag in front of all their fans, I knew I had found my team. I also got to see the team play a preseason game last year in Chicago against the Fire and was impressed at how many people turned out to support the toffees.

Anyway, just wanted to give a little background about me and say hey to the other members. I love this team! COYB!

As for Donovan, yes I am a huge fan, but I was actually a fan of Everton for a few years before he moved over to the EPL. So when I heard he was considering a loan move, (to Everton no less!) I was very excited. I think by playing preseason friendlies in the US and having players like Howard and Donovan, the team has already become more popular over here--I see Everton kits on my college campus every now and then.(y)
