New Site

Daily Post have said today that there is a viable site in Aintree and that the council are working with Sainsbury's to get a proposal sorted out.

the site is in long lane former girling brakes and also council depot, it is a nightmare of a site as anyone who travels to the black bull on one end and the crown at the other end will tell you, more or less at the back of taskers if that makes it any clearer, only thing its got going for it is the closeness of the famous blue star chippy.

thats not aintree is it ?? my nan lives near their.. its fazakerly...

the prob round their is its become a dump... literally...

but it could massively improve the area i suppose !! plus their is a local police station which is good

Wasn't that one of the sites offered previously and after a thorough investigation deemed unfit. Due to the huge amount of retailstores needed to keep it running there would be no room for a stadium there?
