New stadium seats

Blueoyster325

Player Valuation: £25k
Just wondering how difficult it may be to get tickets at the new stadium. We gave up with memberships as we were not always successful in getting seats together and ended up with crap views. It was never a problem in the past but since martinez era it became impossible to get tickets in the Parkend and decent seats elsewhere at goodison.
I understand 31,000 season tickets are available, may be more? Then there's bound to be a good few thousand corporate seats (prawn sandwich seats) so getting membership is the best way again considering there are no bad seats now.
We've been using SPORTSBREAKS last 6 games but at £1000 a pop including hotel stay makes it expensive. Does anyone know of any better ways to get match day tickets come August?

Stay on this site on a regular basis I would suggest (the spare ticket thread obviously). Lots of wheeler dealing going on in there…

I'd expect demand to be pretty high for the first few years so membership is the best route to go down.
There wont be only bad seats left like at Goodison and there should hopefully be more available generally speaking due to the capacity increase.
53k - 3k (away support) - 31k (STHs) = 19k available on match day. If we assume that 9/10k are taken up by premium/corporate then that still leaves a fair chunk of matchday seats left.

I was a season ticket holder for years but had to let it go when my wife got ill.
I go to most games through the membership scheme but as you say most of the seats are crap.
I buy mine through the resale platform as you can usually pick a decent seat up at £55 a pop expensive i know but better than paying a grand.
As for getting seats together it doesn't bother me as I meet up with mates after the game and don't go the game for a chat.

Picked the wrong season to come back from the military I think, worrying be nigh on impossible to get tickets unless your selling a kidney at the new place

Cheers for that, we live on the south coast, but have been supporting everton since 1975, so getting seats together for the 4 of us is what we prefer! £55 is ok for us I'll be prepared to pay £70 upwards and stay in cheaper hotels!

New ground will be different than Goodison anyway because the concourses go most of the way round the ground. So even if not sat together you can still be together before the game, at half time and meet up at the end.
Also might be easier to horse trade in the ground to get someone to swap with you if you do want to try moving separate seats together.

Thanks for that, another idea to consider..👍👍

Yes I think your right about going down the membership route, at least there is a chance. Getting the 4 of us sat together is a must, as we've been doing this for decades and we do a 560 mile round trip. 😉
