i just watched an interview with aj on everton tv after the n ireland game
anyway he said we move to the new training ground in a month or so and will see more of the younger players

any one got news, pictures, anything about it
i didnt think it was this close to being open myself

Does that matter though suits? As long as we can get in there and use it when needed who cares

From the EFC 2006 Report and Accounts:

We also registered a profit of £0.2m (2005: £2.8m) on the disposal
of tangible fixed assets after agreeing the sale (and leaseback) of the
Megastore, Netherton and Finch Farm sites during the year, in order to
raise the finances necessary to fund the construction of our new training
ground and Academy complex (more detail on these transactions can be
found in note 11 to the accounts).

In my book, leasing something back sounds like renting, not a mortgage. Financial guru's correct me if I am wrong on that.

Sounds like we sold it outright and now just lease it (renting with a long term contract).

I think this was discussed here at the time, we sold the grounds and are now renting them back on a lengthy lease (99 years or something).
