Going in Feb with mates.

Anyone been before if so any places you'd recommend checking out or stuff i must see whilst over there.

Also anyone know if you can get to the crown of the statue of liberty yet? I know it was closed after 9/11 and you could only go half way but seen in some places that its re-opened.

Last time I flew to New York I got stuck on an empty row of 5 seats in a 747 with a fat smelly American bird on the other end. I nodded off. Woke up and she was asleep with herself draped all over my legs. She stank. EUUUUUUUGH. Fat American women suck.

depends what you're into really. greenwich village is a cool place with good places to go out at night. you could go watch the baseball, its a good laugh and easy to pick up. Its wierd the first time in new york. Its like being on a film set. Walk / Dont walk signs, yellow cabs everywhere, steam coming out the ground, you half expect cagney and lacey to come bombing round the corner any minute. you'll love it
