Newcastle Utd (and Viz)

I may be wrong but two things stand out

Firstly, the deliberate courting of publicity surrounding the bid by the would be buyers before it has even got across the line, rather like their bid for Liverpool in a way, and so markedly different to the way City's owners shocked the footballing world by only announcing it when it was done.

Secondly this courting of publicity and saying they've proved the funds are there smacks of the recent unsuccessful late bid at Bolton recently, although admittedly by a disreputable buyer, he claimed the funds had been proven to be there and the forms were with the EFL.

This could all be legitimate and everything is as they say but I tend to agree with the football takeover specialist I heard on the radio at lunchtime, that this is still far less than certain and possibly less than 50/50 it'll all go through.

Look further back and you'll see they've even used a different picture of the person as the Sheikh.

It's reeking of someone or something after publicity, whether that's to promote a business or get a few free trips out of it.

They're clearly not an existing company and they're taking Newcastle and Sky for a funny ride.;

Checked all the links and there's absolutely no repuatbale link or evidence of what they do.

Is it just me, or are the pictures of Sheikh Khaled different people?

The first one is from when he was told he is going to be able to buy the world famous club with the black and white striped shirts.

The 2nd is from when he found out it wasn't Juventus.

Personally, I feel that it's significantly lower than 50% and if it does actually go through then it will not be like that with City or PSG - far from it!

They may have a lot of money to spend but their on-going problem is: who want's to live in Newcastle. (Though I guess they could drive from Gateshead.lol)
