If we've gone for Sam after interviewing Fonseca and MON then they mustn't have impressed. All very well saying just give it to Fonseca as he looks the part but for all we know he could have sat there with pencils up his nose whilst being interviewed.

Pep likes Paolo does he? He also likes Pulis, let’s put him on the shortlist.

This faux praise culture from managers is nauseating. Ferguson excelled at it for 25 years. He was always full of praise for any manager whose team he just trounced. I remember he once called Moyes “hungry” after a battering at OT. Look how that worked out.

I don't think I've been this distraught about Everton since the nineties. This trumps Villarreal, the FA Cup final we let slip, everything. The only thing worse than how crap we are right now is thinking BFS is the answer.

It sounds a bit odd. Are we meant to believe that all three of them are on tenterhooks overnight and waiting for a phone call in the morning?

Sounds like they are now trying to give the impression of a thorough, organised search with the obligatory foreign name thrown in, much like Rangnick at the time Martinez was appointed.

I like Fonseca, Shakhtar play some great stuff. O’Neill is a has been. Sam is Sam and that’s who they’ll pick. Fonseca is too exotic for them.

It’s like X Factor. They are all on stage waiting for the lines to close and then Dermot will announce the winner.

Bills idea obviously, said Cowell stole it off him the bitch.

The only thing missing from this circus is for Trump himself to get involved in the decision making process for the next manager.

The historicity and heritage of Everton Football Club is being taken apart piece by piece on a global stage by people who should be nowhere near this club.

Oh don't be daft.

We have been utter tosh for 3 decades!

Another question we should be asking is who is it going to be after this manager?

If its an older guy like an allardyce (which it looks like it will be) Weve got to think who will take over from him?

Do we stick with the same style of footy like Big Sam has. Would be looking at Dyche from burnley then. Another few years looking and seeing what he has been up to will give us an even better idea of how he would do at everton

Someone who plays attacking footy like Howe. Say it was 2 years from now and Howe was still in the prem will bournemouth, surely would be a decent appointment

A foreign young manager- Tuchel etc

An older foreign manager with no prem experiencd like a Blanc? etc

Or a foreign manager who has been in the prem like AVB

I think while this appoinment now is crucial the one after this one will be huge.

Just look at us after Moyes? Martinez then Koeman. Have we actually progressed since Moyes was here? I think we have backwards a good couple of years to before Moyes got us to be a solid Top half team. Its like being back in time before we got into the champions league with Moyes. FFS!!!

Thoughts??

There’s 2 in the frame
1. Allardyce - Kenwright/Walsh
2. Fonseca - Moshiri

Who will win? The result will be telling as to who really controls our club.
